Hi, I’m Kiki Sun — a product designer based in Pasadena, California, and a current student at ArtCenter College of Design.
I grew up making things with whatever I could find — cardboard, bottle caps, scraps — turning simple materials into worlds. That early instinct to build and tell stories has stuck with me, and now shows up in the way I prototype, illustrate, and bring user-centered ideas to life.
My design work often leans toward the whimsical or unexpected: toys that spark nature-based creativity, pet transport systems that feel safe and serene, etc. I love blending playfulness with function, making things that are approachable and delightful, but also deeply intentional.
I’m currently exploring how design can connect people with nature, support comfort (both physical and emotional), and create calm, inclusive spaces — whether that’s through mobility, food, or everyday objects. I’m always thinking about how to make people feel safe, seen, and a little more at ease in the world.
Thanks for stopping by — I’m always up for new collaborations, thoughtful conversations, and
unexpected ideas
